In case you haven’t heard, it has been announced that the rather popular Modern Warfare 2 ‘Stimulus Package’ DLC will be coming out for PC and PlayStation 3 on May 4th. The Stimulus Package contains five new multiplayer maps (two of which are remade from the original Modern Warfare) and will cost $15.
The package was released on Xbox Live on March 30th along with a lot of industry consternation at its fifteen dollar price-tag. The DLC has sold 2.5 million copies on the Xbox, grossing Activision a cool 37.5 million dollars for this one piece of DLC – and on Xbox alone.
